British Pound Extends Gains Against U.S. Dollar, Japanese Yen
July 28 -- The pound extended gains against the dollar and the yen.
The British currency rose 0.3 percent to .6540 as of 7:09 a.m. in London. Against the yen, the pound advanced 0.3 percent to 157.33.
